Amplitude source properties

You can use an Amplitude object as a source in a data loader task.
When you create a data loader task to read data from Amplitude, specify the Amplitude source properties and advanced options.
The following table describes the Amplitude source properties:

Connection
Name of the source connection.
Select a source connection or create a new connection.
Source Path
The path to the directory that contains the source data.

Required for the Funnel Analysis and Event Property objects.
The type of event in Amplitude.
Start
Required for the User Count, Revenue LTA, Funnel Analysis, and Retention Analysis objects.
The start date for the object.
Specify start date in YYYYMMDD format.
End
Required for the User Count, Revenue LTA, Funnel Analysis, and Retention Analysis objects.
The end date for the object.
Specify end date in YYYYMMDD format.
Interval
Required for the User Count object.
The time interval for which you want to read the data.
Select day, week, or month.
User
Required for the User and User Activity objects.
The ID of the user in Amplitude.
Start Action
Required for the Retention Analysis object.
The start action for the event type.
Returning Action
Required for the Retention Analysis object.
The returning action for the event type.

Rules and guidelines for primary key fields and watermark fields

When you read data from Amplitude, the primary key fields and watermark fields are not detected. You can manually define the primary key fields and watermark fields. The default values are Automatically detect from source and Watermark fields not required.
