You can delete the match models that you don't need. Your user role must have the required privileges to delete the match models. If a match model has multiple versions, you can delete a specific version without impacting the other versions. You can't delete the predefined match models.
Assets such as match and merge jobs and Search Match APIs might use a published match model that you want to delete. Before you delete the match model, remove the match model from these dependent assets.
1Open the business entity for which you want to delete a match model, and click the Match tab.
The list of match models appears.
2Hover over the match model that you want to delete, and click Delete.
3If the match model has dependent assets, remove the dependencies and repeat step 2.
To remove dependencies, you can perform the following tasks for the dependent assets:
Dependent Asset Type
Task
Job
Use a different version of the match model or another match model in the job.
Note: If you delete the dependent job, you can't delete the match model.
Search Match API
Use a different version of the match model or another match model as the default model for Search Match API.
Note: Business 360 Console can't detect external Search Match APIs that are dependent on the match model that you want to delete. Ensure that you remove dependencies for these APIs as well.
