Configuring a Summary component

You can use the Summary component to add an overview of your record. By default, the Summary component includes fields that you can configure to display the overview of a record.
    1On the Page Components tab of a custom page, drag the Summary component to a section.
    2On the section where you added the Summary component, select the following fields and configure their properties on the Properties tab:
    Field Name
    Description
    Image Field
    Optional. Field to display an image in the summary by specifying an image URL.
    You can also select URL fields that are configured for the purpose of previewing content.
    If you use a URL field in a field group, configure rules to identify URL field values in multiple field group entries. You can base the rules on specific field types within the field group, which include text, boolean, picklist, decimal, integer, date fields, and URL for preview content. By default, the rules use the equals operator to find matching values. If multiple values match the filter criteria, MDM SaaS uses the first field group entry that's retrieved.
    You can use images that are hosted on external domains. To render these images, ensure that you request Informatica Global Customer Support to add the URL domains to the allowlist for each organization. To ensure data security, Informatica requires you to store images on the cloud services that it has evaluated for security and compliance standards. For more information about the list of allowed cloud services, see Cloud services for hosting images.
    Header Field
    Field to use as a header for the Summary component.
    Line 1 Field
    Optional. Fields to appear in the first line after the header field. You can select a maximum of seven fields.
    Line 2 Field
    Optional. Fields to appear in the second line after the header field. You can select a maximum of seven fields.
    Line 3 Field
    Optional. Fields to appear in the third line after the header field. You can select a maximum of seven fields.
    Link 1 Field
    Optional. Field that contains external URLs, such as social media accounts and website.
    Link 2 Field
    Optional. Field that contains external URLs, such as social media accounts and website.
    Link 3 Field
    Optional. Field that contains external URLs, such as social media accounts and website.
    You can configure the properties for each field in the Summary component.
    The following table lists the properties that you can configure:

    Fields to appear in the first, second, or third line after the header field.

    Display name of the field.
    Separator
    Character to separate the field values. Select one of the following field separators:
    • - Pipe
    • - Comma
    Default is Comma.
    3Click Apply, and then click Save.

Cloud services for hosting images

To safeguard data security, Informatica requires you to host images on the cloud services that comply with the security and compliance standards of Informatica. To render these images in MDM SaaS, request Informatica Global Customer Support to add the URL domains to the allowlist for each organization.
Note: Ensure that the URLs you want to add to the allowlist are publicly accessible.

If you want to use a service that Informatica hasn't already evaluated, contact Informatica Global Customer Support for a security review and addition to the allowlist for each organization.
