The October 2025 release of Data Quality includes the following new feature and enhancements.
Public REST API for dictionaries
As of January 2026, we've rolled out an API for data quality dictionary management. You can programmatically create, update, and delete Data Quality dictionaries with the Dictionary API.
For more information about the Dictionary API, see the Data QualityAPI Reference.
After you create a dictionary, you can update or delete it through the Dictionary API or in the Data Quality user interface. To prevent accidental changes to dictionary data, a dictionary cannot accept updates in both environments at the same time. You can change the editing environment for a dictionary when you open it in Data Quality.
Reference 360 dictionary reuse in data quality assets
You can select a dictionary that you created in Reference 360 as a dictionary in a data quality asset. When you run a mapping that includes the asset, the mapping applies the dictionary data from Reference 360 to the mapping data. When you maintain a single dictionary with the same data in Reference 360 and Data Quality, you avoid the need to maintain separate dictionaries for the same data in each service.
