Viewing the workflow status

You can view the entire workflow for each task, presented in the form of a flow chart, that helps you identify where your review fits in the workflow.
You can view the workflow status to identify the context of your task within the workflow. You can check which tasks are completed or in progress in parallel to your task. You can also confirm if other relevant stakeholders already reviewed or will review the task to determine the scope of your review.
For example, when a record is created for a new product, the record might be sent to several stakeholders for review. It can be sent to business managers, product managers, and marketing managers. The business manager can refer to the workflow to confirm whether it's reviewed by a product manager and marketing manger to understand the scope of their review.

The following image shows the workflow status for a task to review a new record: A workflow for peer and managerial review of a new record by data stewards and managers. The image shows sequential user tasks and related decisions and outcomes. The workflow is under peer review. If it's approved, it proceeds to manager approval. Based on the action performed by the manager, the record is persisted or rejected.
Workflow status shows you the entire sequence of a workflow, including all its components, such as user tasks for human decisions, service tasks for automated tasks performed by MDM SaaS, and possible decisions and outcomes for each task. You can also view the user role associated with each task.
