You can claim a task that you want to work on to prevent other users from working on it. To make a claimed task available to others again, unclaim it. You can also act on unclaimed tasks without claiming them.
To resolve a task, review the new, updated, or deleted records, relationships, or hierarchies, and select an action. Available actions depend on the workflow.
You can claim and resolve tasks individually or in bulk.
Reviewing new records
Review all the fields in a new record and approve the data before it becomes master data.
To collaborate with other stakeholders, add comments to tasks explaining or justifying the actions that you take. You can add comments any time, including when you act on tasks. Other reviewers can view your comments in the task and the ticket manager. Workflow initiators and administrators can view your comments in the ticket manager.

2To act on multiple tasks, select the tasks, click Bulk Actions, and then select the appropriate action.
3To review a single task in detail, click the task that you want to review in the task inbox.
The task details are displayed.
4Review the changes and edit them, if needed.
aClick the Review New Details tab.
bIn the Related Records section, review any relationships created for the record.
cIf you find any typographical errors, incorrect values, or incorrect relationships, click Edit, make the required changes, then click Apply and Save.
5Optionally, on the Comments tab, enter a comment, and click Send.
6To resolve a task, select the appropriate action.

Reviewing edited records
Review and approve all the changes to ensure that the data is accurate. Updated fields are highlighted.

Reviewing records to resolve duplicates
To resolve duplicates, open a merge task. Review the matching records, which are potential duplicates, and the preview of the merged record.

Other reviewers can view your comments in the task and the ticket manager. Workflow initiators and administrators can view your comments in the ticket manager.

cOptionally, to adjust the fields and the order in which they are displayed, click Manage Fields and select the Custom option, make the required changes and click Save.
dTo find specific fields, use search.
eOptionally, hide individual fields or click Hide All to hide all the fields or even all the fields that appear for a specific search.
fTo adjust the field order, drag fields.
gClick the Jump to option at the end of the list to navigate between the sections in the record.
hCompare the matching records.
6Optionally, on the Comments tab, enter a comment, and click Send.
7To resolve a task, select the appropriate action.

Reviewing source records to unmerge from a master record
Review the source records to unmerge from a master record. The source records to be unmerged are selected. You can preview the master records that will be created after the source records are unmerged from the original master record.
