You can update a CDI-PC domain through two distinct update modes available on the CDI-PC service page. You can use the one-step update mode to prepare and update the domain simultaneously with a single action. You can also choose to update your domain in two steps by preparing in advance of the actual update.
The two-step update ensures that your domain remains functional even if the preparation encounters an issue. The update status clearly indicates the stages of preparation and final update, allowing you to complete preparation several days prior to your scheduled maintenance window.
