Stakeholders

Stakeholders are authorized users who are responsible for the asset, and can approve or reject change requests for the asset.
The following table describes the columns where you must enter values to assign stakeholders to assets:

Name or Reference ID of the asset.
If you have one or more assets with the same name, consider entering their respective Reference ID values to help the system to distinguish between them.
Asset Type
Required
Type of the asset for which you want to specify the stakeholders. Enter the exact name of the asset type.
Examples: Business Term, Domain
User or User Group
Required
User or user group that you want to assign as stakeholders of the asset. Enter one stakeholder per asset.
Ensure that the users or user groups that you specify are already assigned the relevant user role. For example, to add a user as a stakeholder with the Governance Owner stakeholder role on an asset, the user must already be assigned the Governance Owner user role from the Administrator console.
Type of Entry: Email address of the user, the username, or last name followed by comma then the first name, without any spaces in between.
Example of an email address: steve@yourorg.com
Example of a user name: eclarke
Example of a full name: Rhodes,Jane
Role
Required
Role of the Stakeholder that you want to assign to the asset.
If the user or user group that you want to assign as the asset stakeholder has multiple roles assigned to them, enter each role in a new row. Do not use comma to separate the values.
Operation

Select an operation for the stakeholders.
You can select one of the following options:
  • - Create. You want to add a stakeholder to an asset.
  • - Delete. You want to remove the stakeholder of an asset.
